Southbound
Option 1 Paid parking has been recommended by the shuttle service at the PNC Center. PNC Center - Parking in Cleveland | ParkMe Looking at link looks like it runs $4 on weekends, and $8 early bird on weekdays. You could bring your suitcase to us at La Quinta at 630 to 7am day of departure or 7 to 8 PM night before. You then on the morning of departure would bike the 3.6 miles to Edgewater Park to be there for our 7:30AM start. PNC Center Garage, 750 Vincent Ave., Cleveland, OH 44114
Option 2 Hotel Parking Option. Some folks could stay the night before we do the southbound ride at LaQuinta by Wyndham in Independence. I booked 8 rooms. First come first served. Staying with us at marginally rated La Quinta Inn you may park in back lot for free all week (Per Lori and another staff member). We can receive your suitcase between 630 and 7 am at hotel, and van pool 6 riders and 6 bikes in trailer to Edgewater Park, per wave. We would come back after the start for luggage.
1 night, 8 rooms $1,024.64 Including taxes
So $1,024.64 for 8 rooms equates to $128.08 for a room, so $128.08 if single occupancy, $64.04 if two in room, and $42.70 if 3. Lori at desk said it should not be a problem if we stay there a night to leave cars there. If it is I see a Walmart Supercenter not too far away. We could shuttle people and bikes to start 6 at a time with our van.
Option 3 Park near end of ride a free parking option. You could park at Clear Creek (Clear Creek Park, 6200 Batavia Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45244) 6.2 miles from Ohio River. We could shuttle people as they finish in groups of 4 or 5 back to lot. Alternatively on the last day if you are losing your legs you get your car and drive down to us at river park (Schmidt Boat Launch Ramp, 2944 Humbert Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45226) as this lot is 6.2 miles from the end. The benefit of this is you don’t have to take a shuttle over 300 miles back to the beginning after a week of riding. See down below for more info on this option. You need to register and they lock lot at night…
Of course we are open to other options if folks have a suggestion.
If you know what you plan now it would help me if you told us.

MORE DETAILS FOR OPTION 3 Clear Creek Park FREE!
The park is open from dawn to dusk. All practices or games on these fields require a permit. Clear Creek Park is prone to seasonal flooding. The main parking lot is gated overnight and during flooding.
FREE! Need to register, we parked there last year and had shuttle bring us there from Cleveland.
You need to register so they know your car is there overnight. 6200 Batavia Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45244
(513) 474-0003 You call and they email a form which you return then you print the permit for your window of your car. No need to tell them it is a tour just give them dates. If you do tell them it is a tour remind them we are only going to maybe have about 6 people call as Paul explained a couple months back… they panic when you say you are with a bike tour group, they envision it is like a township event with 100s of cars.
Our experience was it was very large, under utilized with nice rest rooms. See our pic is at top of email or at link.
Here is Clear Creek overnight parking reply to me,
Attached is the request form for the Clear Creek overnight parking. Please fill it out completely and return as soon as possible. We need some time to verify the request with Operations to make sure the dates requested are free for overnight use. Please call if you a have any questions.
